Kim's A9X Torana

We bought the hatch in 1985, literally from a farmer’s shed out the back of Warrigal. At the time it had 40,000kms on it, and was basically stock other than a cactus Holley carb on it (why it was fitted is still a mystery), headers, and a set of alloys. It.s now back with the original quadrajet, exhaust and rims, complete with dealer fitted trim rings – very upmarket! Its had a couple of runs at Calder in the mid ‘80’s, and we drove it up to Qld for the Torana Nationals in 2004, and I drove it to Bathurst the same year for the Torana the Great support event. Its now hit 75,000 kms and is bloody great to drive!
